News Release

The news release I looked at went into a lot of specifics and I felt that the reporter just captured a bit of what the NR had to say.

The reporter summarized most of the news release and reported what was happening. The reporter also took a few quotes from there to support what he was saying. However, I felt that the news release said a lot more. It had a lot of information that was useful to the reporter but the reporter just incorporated what he wanted to say.

The news release and the final report looked identical and essentially told the public about what was going on with this company's new product. However, I felt that the report was more of a way to inform the public and the news release was for the media to use.
